Next course date 6th March 2010 @ 2:00pm
Our "Worship Leading" course is currently taking place at
our Solihull centre.
Course Format
The course training sessions run one Saturday afternoon/evening a month. It can be completed informally, meaning that you can just attend the sessions and participate in the course, or you can choose to complete the course formally, leading to the Open College Network "Worship Leading" qualification, in which you also attend the sessions, but have to complete assignments and coursework as well.
Course Contents
The course covers developing spiritually as a worshiper, theological teaching and training on how to effectively lead worship, and also musical and worship team training.
Each session covers the three areas of: practical music and worship team training, spiritual development and understanding understanding worship.
The course is specifically non-denominational, and is accessible to people from all different church and worship backgrounds, and is also flexible, allowing us to meet the needs of people wherever they are as a musician or worshiper, and see them develop from that point.
There are further details of what is required for the formal course below:

Course Costs
To attend the course costs £100. This helps us to cover our running costs, and it allows users to attend as many sessions as they want, as there is a continual process of development both spiritually and musically taking place within the sessions.
For those who want to gain the formal qualification, there is a further £100 charge, which pays for OCN fees and their process of moderation. We suggest that you attend the course informally first, before deciding to commit to completing the course formally.
